Performs as well per thread as my i7-10700K running protein folding models. Runs much cooler. 72W max power consumption compared to 158W max power consumption for the 10-700K. Around half the power to provide three-quarters of the computing power.
Not as fast as I expected, still much faster and more responsive than my old i5 6600. Temp stays cool with stock cooler.
Great cpu for the price, probably the cheapest 12 thread Cpu right now, solid performance. I'm very happy with it.
